From Chase Linko-Looper:
Alright, forget the influencer bullshit for a second. This ain’t about clicks, engagement, or algorithms. This is about survival.
I know a lot of you feel like you don’t have time to organize, that your job, your family, your bills got you too tied up to fight back. And that’s exactly how they want you: too busy surviving to resist.
But the truth is it don’t take much. An ounce of effort is enough to get started. You don’t gotta be an expert, you just gotta give a damn. That’s why I put together a guide on how to organize. If you’re serious about fighting fascism, it’s worth the read.
Because here’s the deal: We ain’t winning this alone. It ain’t enough to just talk to people who already agree with us. We need coalitions across party lines, across beliefs—not with the politicians but with the people they keep lying to.
Republicans have been playing their own people like fiddles for decades. They keep ‘em angry at the wrong folks—Black people, queer people, immigrants, the poor—all while they gut their wages, steal their land, and ship their jobs overseas.
But before you go feeling too smug, Democrats are running the same damn scam. How many times have they promised health care? How many times did they say they’ll fight for workers, then vote for the same corporate giveaways as the GOP?
Now, don’t bite my head off. You know I’m right. The system is rigged, and both parties keep it that way. So, what do we do?
We organize. We build real power in our communities. History has proven it works.
The Mine Wars in West Virginia: Workers organized and fought back. The Civil Rights movement: They organized and fought back. Hell, even the New Deal only happened because workers organized and scared the hell out of the government.
Power concedes nothing without a fight. Frederick Douglass said that.
And if we don’t fight now, we already see what happens: book bans, forced births, cops with more rights than you and me, billionaires getting richer while we can’t even afford groceries.
So, yeah, you’re busy. We all are. But if you’re too busy to fight back now, what makes you think you’ll have anything left to fight for later?
